The Easter Sunday of 2014 in Pontiac, Michigan was a moment the city would never forget. After years of attempting to purchase the concert venue Clutch Cargo and transform it back into a church, Pastor Kent Clark of Grace Gospel Fellowship had his dream come true. This is that story, told from eyewitness accounts, archival news footage, and a soundtrack that never lets up, this is the story of a club with 7 bars being transformed into a church with a hundred pews.
In the finale to the Present Grace Film Series, the story of Moses is retold in a modern setting. Instead of Hebrews, its the homeless. Instead of the Pharoh, its the Mayor. While some of the characters have been updated to our modern times, the message remains the same. Witness the beginning of Moses’s story unlike ever before, witness the finale to the Present Grace Film Series.
Courtney shares that she was raised in a Christian household. She also shares that the pressures of high school caused her to fall away. One night she realized that she no longer felt she had purpose in her life. After becoming involved with a Christian organization, Christ’s purpose for her life became evident. It was at that moment she learned to serve and to develop her personal relationship with Christ. Courtney learned about the unconditional love of God. This is what motivates her in work, relationships and prayers today. She currently helps with young teenagers and the struggles they go through. Helping these kids have become part of the purpose God has placed in her life. God has a way of turning our struggles into what He uses for us to help others. Courtney is also involved in ministry with her church, one of those ministries is an outreach ministry that travels all over the world to preach the Gospel. Right now she is helping train a group that will be going to Guatemala in the summer of 2014.
“Direct your child on the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.”
Here it is! The day we have all been waiting for. April 20th, 2014 Grace Gospel Fellowship opened the doors to their new home. After years of prayer and many months of construction, the doors were opened to the public. Over 1000 people arrived this Sunday. Over 100 had to be turned away due to lack of room. What a glorious day! On Easter Sunday we praise God because this is the day He rose from the grave. With Him came life!
We just want to say thank you to everyone that helped to make this day what it was. Thank you to the Luther family for their donation. Thank you to every laborer that put it in the countless hours. Thank you to all the people that prayed for this day. Thank you to everyone who believed it could never happen. What a great God we serve! He is the God of this city!
“If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer”
